You will get a certificate issued by Krsh Welfare Foundation (Krsh). Krsh is registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India (CIN U80900DL2022NPL394675). Krsh received Certificate of Recognition from Govt. Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (certificate no. DIPP103063 valid till 04-03-2032).

Your certificate will be personalized with details on what you learned. Click on the sample certificate below to zoom it.

We ask security deposit to insure only sincere candidates come to us. Krsh is NOT a training institute. Krsh is an NGO working for mental health. We are short of counsellors so this training is one of the ways to build our team. Institutes provide training to make money, but Krsh provides training to build community-driven mental health solutions.

You will be given real client cases, and you can practice as Krsh Counsellor. We will give you close handholding by senior psychologists for first few real cases, to ensure you are able to solve cases successfully. Fee per session starts from Rs. 1000 and your security money may be returned in first case itself. For the first case, you get 40% share, for second 50% share, for third 60% share, and from fourth onwards 70% share.

The successful completion of program also opens several employment opportunities at Krsh and our partner organizations.

Actually we do not claim, our students have proclaimed it. In a hospital/clinical internship, you only get to observe clients. Even during observation, every intern does not gets the same opportunity to hear the client clearly. Skills cannot be developed by mere observation or theoritical studies. Skill development requires real practice which is missing in clinical internship. We have a time-tested methodology of client-counsellor roleplay through which you develop these skills.

See who all has been learning with us here https://www.instagram.com/p/CylgsJCMuIH/ and here https://www.instagram.com/p/CwaN-WvNasZ/

Knowledge can be developed from observing; but skills need real practice. Unfortunately, colleges do not provide handholding for training in these skills. This is also the reason why psychology students struggle for jobs and there is a shortage of 25 Lac skilled counsellors in India. We fill this gap in a systematic way through collaborative learning:

  1. Client Roleplay: you will be given a worksheet to prepare client character sketch. It helps you to learn how exactly the client feels for each sentence/phrase/gesture that the counsellor uses. You will recognize what are the right ways to implement over 20 therapy skills acquired via this program.
  2. Counsellor Practice: You will be given process document and worksheets to practice as a counsellor and apply the 20 therapy skills.
  3. Observer Roleplay: Initially, you will be added as observer to understand how to learn in collaborative setting by client-counsellor roleplay. Using the observer worksheet, you note down client MSE and Counsellor techniques.

Since we allow on-demand topics, both bachelors and masters students can take this program as per their theoretical background.

Your assigned Facilitator will help you in navigating through the program, schedule QnA classes, conduct practice sessions and resource guides.

Further, since the certificate is personalized for each student completing the program, every student gets befitting support to their career path.

Counselling Macro skills enable a counsellor to build a working alliance and engage clients in discussion that is both helpful and meaningful.

Counselling Microskills are the communication units of the counsellor/client session that provide specific alternatives for counsellors to use with many types of clients and all theories of counselling and therapy. (Ivey, 2014)

The quizzes on mental health cases, counselling skills and counsellor-client roleplay will help you develop both macroskills and microskills.

We make it simple for you to connect theory to actual situations, for which 90% of clients seek out therapist. To help you relate things realistically, we have carefully created engaging quizzes in addition to lectures.

90% of the therapy requests are covered through the following:

Relationships: Breakups, cheating, manipulations, brutal rejections and one-sided love.

Social: Social anxiety, Loneliness, Pressure from family or relatives, Pressure from classmates or colleagues.

Eating Issues: addicted to fast or processed food, binge eating, tea or coffee addiction, soda addiction and irregularity in eating wholesome meals.

Dysmorphic disorders: about skin, height, figure or other bodily features

Sleep: difficulty in falling asleep, difficulty in waking up, and poor sleep quality

A lot of members in our community upload files such as class presentations practice papers, research guides and assessments. More than 500 of such helpful files are maintained in Central Repository for which you will be given free access. These files include all major branches of psychology such as Clinical, Applied, Organizational, Sports and Forensic.

Further, we teach you research skills with AI Tools. These help you quickly go through specialized content such as research papers, research summaries and advanced methodologies. These are specially useful for those preparing thesis or pursuing PhD.

We engage you with ice-breakers and activities through live sessions. You practically experience how connections are build. Further, we teach you how to conduct these through counsellor-client roleplay in realistic therapy sessions.

Faculty members are the key people who have designed this program and will provide you on-demand QnA sessions. All our faculty members have minimum 10 years of expereince. Our Faculty members are praciticing Psychotherapists with RCI license or PhD. Note that this is a dynamically evolving training program. We may invite to new faculty to address certain topics based on their expertise. You will have access to all classes for one year from multiple faculty members.
Facilitators are trained peers who will provide you handholding throughout the program.

Facilitators act as buddy with whom you can ask anything, small or big. For the smallest study doubt or bigger query such as certification, you can talk to a Facilitator.

If you are not prepared to take real cases, we will not be able to return your security money. However, even in such a situation, we give you up to one year to prepare for taking real cases. You will be assessed in a transparent manner during practice sessions, and detailed feedback will be provided on areas for improvement.

You cannot be given real cases if (a) you refuse to accept Krsh’s processes, systems, and code of conduct, (b) you are not able to apply core essential counselling skills during practice sessions, or (c) you are not able to apply SFBT techniques during practice sessions.

We understand in some situations, students may only opt for certificate and not real cases.

2. Completing 6 practice sessions - 2 as observer, 2 as client, 2 as counsellor. Practice sessions can be scheduled on any day by coordinating with your facilitator.
